Dylan Towne is a karting driver from Denton, Texas USA who has been rapidly rising through the ranks of American karting since he began racing in 2014. Now, at the age of 19, Dylan is continuing to chase his racing dreams while he studies marketing at the University of North Texas in his home town of Denton, Texas. Dylan just concluded a successful 2017 campaign that saw him rack up multiple wins and podiums in multiple series, chiefly among which was a set of dominating victories at the final round of the Texas ProKart Challenge Series in October. Dylan has made a name for himself as an intelligent, respectful, sporting competitor who isn’t afraid of a challenge and is extremely excited about the forefront of technological developments in the world of motorsports and karting, specifically the electrification of motorsport..

Early career

Dylan started karting competitively in 2014 at the local level in a Yamaha KT100, winning his first championship in Junior Super Sportsman. For 2015, he moved into regional competition with the TaG Senior Class of the Texas ProKart Challenge series, finishing 4th in his first year, making him the highest finishing rookie in his class. In 2016, Dylan moved to the Rotax Senior Class, trying his hand at road racing, and finishing runner-up in the KART Road Racing Nationals. Dylan then moved to the S3 Stock Honda class for 2017, winning another local championship as well as scoring four podiums, including two dominate wins, in the Texas ProKart Challenge series.
